Hello,
Welcome to my website!
I am Sevim DALGIÇ GÜL,
an educator, mother, and politician born in 1978. I was born in a small village in the Gölköy district of Ordu, and throughout my life, I strive to use the knowledge and experiences I have gained to benefit every segment of our society.
After completing my primary education at Küçükbakkalköy Merkez Primary School (formerly known as Kemal Berktan Primary School), I had to pause my formal education due to family reasons. I successfully completed external examinations and finished my secondary education.
I completed my high school education through the formal system at Prof. Faik Somer High School, and then I entered Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Education, Department of Preschool Teaching, which was my first choice, graduating on July 1, 2005.
I began my teaching career at TED College, one of Turkey's prestigious educational institutions, and continued at Şişli Terakki Foundation Schools and various other schools. I have held positions such as teacher, principal, education coordinator, and campus director.
In every step, I aimed to be a source of inspiration for my students and colleagues, helping them realize their potential.
Venturing into politics, I became a candidate for the 28th term Istanbul CHP parliamentary elections and then continued my political journey as a candidate for the Ataşehir Mayor. My goal is to work towards creating a better society, developing projects based on the principles of social justice and equality, and fighting for a world where everyone has equal opportunities.
One of the greatest sources of inspiration in my life is my daughter, Nisev. Together, I dream of a world where all children are happy, no child goes to bed hungry, and wars do not exist. In line with this vision, I am committed to serving our community with innovative and sustainable projects in every field, from education to politics.
This site was created to share my knowledge and experiences with you, inform you about my projects, and work together to build a better future. Thank you for your visit and support.
With love and respect...
Dear Stakeholders in Education,
The Unspoken Side of the Digital World
While social media's role in promoting violence or affecting academic performance in children is often discussed, the invisible pressures triggering early puberty remain largely unaddressed.
Even food advertisements on television or streaming platforms, with unrealistic visuals and strange sounds, can send subliminal messages to children’s subconscious minds.
